Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What is the H-Town Beer Passport?

The H-Town Beer Passport is a self-guided brewery exploration program featuring participating Houston-area craft breweries. It’s your excuse to discover new favorites, collect stamps, and support local businesses all year long.

How does it work?

  1. Purchase your passport.

  2. Visit participating breweries during regular business hours.

  3. Show your passport when you arrive.

  4. Collect a stamp from each location.

Participating breweries may choose to offer special in-house perks to passport participants — just ask when you visit!

What do I get with the passport?

Each brewery determines what they offer to passport participants. Offers may vary by location and may change throughout the year.

When you complete your passport by collecting all brewery stamps, you’ll receive an official H-Town Beer Passport glass and entry into our year-end raffle for special prizes.

(No alcohol purchase is required to enter the raffle.)

Are the brewery perks the same at every location?

Nope — and that’s part of the fun!

Each participating brewery chooses what they’d like to offer passport participants. Promotions may rotate seasonally, change throughout the year, or be unavailable at times.

Do I have to purchase alcohol to participate?

No. You’re welcome to visit participating breweries and collect stamps without purchasing alcohol.

Alcohol purchase is not required for raffle entry.

Do I have to be 21?

You must be 21+ to receive any alcoholic beverage promotion. Valid government-issued ID is required.

How do I collect a stamp?

Present your passport to brewery staff during your visit. Each brewery will stamp its designated page once participation requirements are met.

One stamp per brewery location.

What happens if I lose my passport?

Passports cannot be replaced with previously earned stamps, so treat it like a ticket or event credential.

How do I enter the raffle?

Once you’ve collected stamps from all participating breweries, submit your completed passport at a participating location during the designated timeframe.

Official raffle rules will be posted on our website.

Are breweries required to offer discounts?

No. Participation in the passport program does not require a brewery to offer a specific discount or promotion.

All alcoholic beverage pricing and promotions are independently created, funded, and controlled by each participating brewery.

Can breweries change during the year?

Yes. Participating breweries may be added or removed due to business changes or operational decisions.

Is the passport transferable?

No. The passport is intended for individual use and may not be shared, duplicated, or resold.

Please drink responsibly.

We encourage all participants to plan transportation in advance, pace visits, and support breweries safely and responsibly.
